DANGEROUS ROMAN CATHOLIC MOVEMENTS

The following was received from the “Netherlands Gospel Center” Van Boetzelaerlaan 116, Den Haag, Holland.

Dear friends.

Vast sums are being expended in Europe, Still larger ones are to be used in building up her armed forces. No sacrifice is considered too great, or expenditure too lavish, if only something can be done to stay the approaching tide of destruction.

Yet Europe’s primary need is not a bigger bomb-pile. What she needs most of all is a faithful and potent witness to the living God.

You might think: “Europe is far away; we have nothing to do with Europe.”

Are you informed about the Roman Catholic aspirations as to the United States?

The following quoted from a letter by Father Patrick O’Brien of Rochester, N. Y., was printed in “La Aurora,” a magazine put out by the Italian Baptist Publishing House of Pennsylvania.

“We, the hierarchy of the Holy Roman Catholic Church, expect all loyal children of the church to assist the president with all our strength to see that individuals comprising the U. S. Supreme Court shall obey the President’s injunctions. And, if necessary, we shall change, mend, or blot out the present Constitution so that the President may enforce his, or rather our humanitarian program and all phases of human rights as laid down by our saintly Popes and the Holy Mother Church.

We elected our worthy President by the greatest majority ever recorded in history. We are going to have our laws made and enforced according to the Holy See, and the Popes and the canon law of the Papal throne. Our entire social structure must be rebuilt on that basis. Our educational laws must be constructed to the end that atheism, the Red peril of totalitarianism, PROTESTANTISM, communism, socialism and ALL OTHER OF LIKE, and STAMP, be driven from this fair land.

The cross was planted on our shores by a staunch Roman Catholic. This land belongs to us by every right. Long enough have we compromised on every important question. Now demand what is really ours, and we are going to have it. We will support our President in every way to obtain it, peacefully, honestly, if we may. If necessary we are ready to fight and die for it.

We want as Cabinet Members children of the Holy Mother Church holding important positions in the entire structure of our government.

We control America and we do not propose to stop until America or Americans are genuinely Roman Catholic and remain so. God help us.”

That is surely plain language.

Do you know that the inquisition, the Jesuitism and all further appendices of the Vatican government are already preparing for their planned removal to America.

Have you ever realized what will be the future of your free country when it is under the hierarchy of the “Holy Roman Church?”

Dear readers! do you not see the threatening dangers in our evil and dark times for the Church of Christ, for us and our children?

Here are two great powers: Communism is a power without religion, and Roman Catholicism is a great religious power, but both parties have their power from satan and hell, and are therefore a great peril for Church and Truth. That the great God of heaven and earth may open our eyes for these great dangers, and give us to practice, “Watch and pray!”

Righteously the Lord can give us into the hands of these evil and satanic powers. Have we not left the Lord and His Word? Have we esteemed the privileges given unto us? Have we as a church not become conformed to the world?

Here are good words for a perverse and backsliding generation, “Therefore also now, saith the Lord, turn ye even to Me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning: And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the Lord your God: for He is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth Him of the evil,” Joel 2:12, 13.

May it be given to the true strangers in this world and the mourners in Zion, to have their eyes raised heavenward and behold King Jesus our supreme Ruler, sit upon His majestic throne. He yet speaketh, to all that may follow Him, “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” And also, “All power is given unto Me in heaven and in earth. And, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”
