Told To Our Children

We are pleased to announce the publication of the first volume (Old Testament) of the Bible History in English by Mr. John Vreugdenhill, principal of our school at Kampen, The Netherlands.

It took quite some time before this first volume was published. When we consider, however, what a heavy undertaking it was and the labor involved with translating this Bible History we should not be surprised that publication came later than anticipated.

It was a great project, indeed, also, for the publishers W. M. den Hertog of Utrecht realizing their investment and the risks involved. However, we are pleased with this book and hope sincerely that God’s blessing may rest upon it. We trust that our families will appreciate it, too. It is a beautiful book of 828 pages and illustrated throughout. Most important, the contents can be wholeheartedly recommended.

Alas, the knowledge of God’s Word is, generally speaking, so little. But we hope this Children’s Bible will be read by many to increase the knowledge of the Truth. May it be an eternal blessing for our rising generation and may the Spirit of the Lord bless it to the hearts of many. The preface has been written by Reverend G. A. Zyderveld. Do not disappoint the publishers. This book is a valuable possession for our families. We are looking forward to the publication of Volume 2, also. The price is $6.00, postage not included.
