VIETNAM MORATORIUM WITHOUT LAW

October 15, 1969, and the anticipated November 15, 1969 Moratorium in our beloved America will go down in the history of the United States as a Moratorium without law.

“Peace Was the Word in Talks, Prayers at Moratorium rallies,” was the slogan of the day. The plea of our President Richard Nixon who has urged the American people not to buckle under” or run away” from a national commitment to a just Peace has been disregarded by Professors, Pastors, Teachers, Layman, Students, and the college young as they are on rampage, knowingly or not being aware of the great danger in which they participate to the destruction of our nation, and to the joy of our enemy the communist.

The rules they have set forth: “Divide the people into hostile groups by constantly harping on controversial matters of no importance; destroy the peoples faith in their natural leaders by holding the latter up to contempts, ridicule, obloquy.” These clearly indicate that as we do their bidding we are supporting the subversive overthrow of America. Some of those involved in the Moratorium Activities really have the objective of creating anarchy in this country. Many of the activists of this movement now bow their heads under prayer who never once bowed under the authority of the Word of God. Psalm 28:4 “Which speak peace to their neighbours, but mischief is in their hearts.” May our youth be admonished to take no active part in these works of darkness.

These moratorium activities are but a forerunner of what shall befall this nation unless there is a breaking with sin and iniquities, and a returning to the precepts of God’s Holy law. America is guilty of breaking His precepts, we are all guilty of forsaking the Lord our God. Iniquities prevail over us. May we all both old and young cry mightily to the Lord for pardon, and give heed to His Word. Jeremiah 22:29 “O, earth, earth, earth, hear the word of the Lord.” And may the remnant of God’s people pray with Daniel of old, Daniel 9:19 “O Lord hear; O Lord forgive; O Lord, hearken and do; defer not, for thine own sake, O my God; for the city and thy people are called by thy name.” He may prolong his judgements for his Name sake. Psalm 46:9 “He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth.”
