Curatorium Announcement

Although the main announcement about the forthcoming meeting of the Curatorium has already appeared in the February and March issues of The Banner of Truth, it is not out of place to mention this again. On Wednesday, May 15, 2013, the Lord willing and we live, the Curatorium hopes to meet in the consistory room of the Beckwith Avenue congregation in Grand Rapids.

If there are any men among us who may testify of God’s grace given in their heart and also may speak of the exercises regarding a calling to the ministry, they should contact their consistory about an attest to come to the Curatorium meeting. This holds true also with regard to a calling for missionary minister.

We shall not repeat what was written in the two previous issues, but we ask you to read it by renewal. Perhaps there is someone who has read this over more than once already and the matter is bound upon his heart. Perhaps there is someone who has put the previous announcements far away, trying to push away any thoughts or exercises about the ministry. May the Lord speak and make the way plain.

Any attest given by a consistory should be sent to the address of the acting clerk below. We request the consistories to remember our meeting in public prayer especially on the Lord’s Day before the Curatorium meeting. May the inner chamber not be empty and the plea of an unworthy beggar be given and sent up. The Lord gladden us with His doings and remember us in His favor.
