One person wrote answers in pencil so that I could not read the fax when I received it in February. if your name is missing from the April issue’s list, please let me know. Janice & Susanna Aleman, please send me your address. Thanks very much.

I hope the Lord will bless His Word to each of our hearts as we study it together. Ask often, “Show me Thy paths, O Lord.” The Lord is so worthy to be served.

Love,
Aunt LenaBeth

Kaylee Arnoleussen

Happy Birthday, Kaylee. I hope you had a good day, and list importantly, I hope that you will receive the greatest gift of all in this coming year, a new heart that is possible not only for adults but also for children turning seven. Ask the Lord often for new heart, okay The Lord is so good, He cares for us, yet we sin igainst Him so often. When someone has a new heart, he will want to I’ve Him, and He is so worthy of that. Don’t you think that is the best kind of life there is? I’m glad you are learning to read Work hard at it, okay? Then. soon you will be able to read the Bible. That is the best Book of all!

Courtney Van Maren

It is too bad that church had to be canceled because the power was out, Courtney. I hope you could have church in the evening. When you are in New York City, you will be about a half hour from our house. You are welcome to stop by! I hope you will be able to see all the special sights. It is solemn to think back to the event of 9/11. So many people died. For them, it became eternity. For each of us an end will come as well. Ask the Lord to prepare you. Yes, I have two daughters close to your age One is ten and the other is almost fourteen.

Chimwemwe Malangwasira

You did a good job on your answers, Chimwemwe Perhaps in another letter you could remind me how old you are, so I can update my information I think I misspelled your last name the first time, didn’t I? I’m sorry about that, no you enjoy your school work? What do you like to do at home with your three sisters? Sisters are special. In the Bible. there is a story of two sisters named Mary and Martha. One liked to sit quietly and listen to Jesus. Do Wu know which one? The other liked to serve the food Do you know what made them happiest? It was that the Lord Jesus loved them both.

Hannah Kegel

It was wonderful to receive your note, Hannah. Yes, I enjoy making the puzzles. Thank you for telling me how you like the quizzes and stories. We live in the northern part of New Jersey in a town called Butler Perhaps you could look it up on a map. Which psalter are you learning in school right now? Do you know Psalter 140, “God, be merciful to me?” Ask every day if the Lord will make that your prayer, too. We have such sinful hearts, and we need the Lord to wash us clean. What is your favorite subject?

Amanda Van Maren

Thank you for you letter, Amanda, and for telling me about your brother and sisters. Thank you, Codi and Heidi for your answers I’m glad you all love to to go to school. Receiving mail is exciting, isn’t it? When my oldest children were younger, they waited by the mailbox every day because they liked to bring in the mail horn the mail truck, and sometimes I would “make” them some mail to open so they wouldn’t be disappointed.

Marilyn Heger

What are you cooking class and painting in art club, Marilyn? Do you do your homework together in homework club? How are you doing with sign language? I learned the alphabet and some songs and sentences long ago and also used to use some signs with handicapped children. Do you find it hard to learn? In Luke 1 we read of Zachariah who could no longer speak. He had to use signs, too, but the Lord remembered Zachariah and give his voice back. Zachariah was so thankful for this and for his baby son, for all that the Lord had none and would do, that he used his voice first of all to praise and exalt the Lord his God.

Alyssa Arnoldussen

It is always very Cold in the northern territories of Canada. isn’t it, Alyssa? What else have you learned ebout those places? Has it been very cold by you this winter? We live in New Jersey, and we have six children. It was very cold here in February. In the Bible we read, “While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.” Each time the winter cold is past, the Lord will send springtime again. This shows how faithful He is. He watches over this earth and care for those in it.

James Groeneweg

Did you build the rink with your brothers, James? My children love to skate and play hockey, too. Do you have City Lego and Town Playmobil? Which psalters can you play on the piano? Do you have a favorite? Did you ever try number 339? The words of verse one are, “O Lord, my earnest cry Thy list’ning ear has heard; with Thy salvation answer me.” Ask the Lord to give you this earnest cry. He hears those cries and wants us to pray to Him. Always bow your knees when you get up in the morning, okay?

Serena Byers

My little ones love it when the older ones have a snow day, so I imagine that Marcie was just as excited as you were when school was canceled on her birthday. That was very special, Serena! You have such cute names for your goats. How are they doing? Did your silhouette painting turn out well? heavens and the earth. There are so many ways we can see in nature that the Lord is so great and almighty, and we may ask Him every day for all that we need. Ask Him especially for a new heart, Serena.

Amy Bosman

Which games do you play with the elderly at Sunset Manor. Amy? I’m sure they really enjoy your company. Sometimes old people are frail or lonely. There is a prayer in Psalter 191 which you could pray for the elderly. “Cast them not off when hoary age becomes their weary lot, and in the days of failing strength do Thou forsake them not.” I’d love to learn about those cute martens and weasels, too. They remind me of the ferrets you see in pet shops. When I was your age, I did projects about animals, also. I remember one about orangutans; it was very interesting. The Lord has created so many amazing animals.

Johnathon Heger

Its sounds like had a very adventurous class trip, Johnathon. It must have been fun to make snow sculptures and igloos. Which books have you read for your book reports? I’m sure no one planned on the bus breaking down. Did that happen because of the cold? Sometimes things go so different from what we have planned. This shows us that even though we would like to be in control, we are not. It is a mercy that God is always in control. We may ask Him to help us in all situations, always remembering that the Lord knows best.

Tyson Maljaars

Thank you for your note, Tyson, and for joining us. You’re welcome, for the envelope. I can understand that you like reading. Reading allows you to find out about so many things, and it can be suspenseful, interesting, or a good way to relax a while. What are you reading right now? Do you have a favorite book? There are many valuable books. Have you read In the Service of His King or Leen Potappel? Do you read your Bible, too? The Bible tells us, “Search the Scriptures.” That means we should all read the Bible—the Scriptures—often.

Autumn Kegel

I loved reading your long letter, Autumn. You are doing so well to know so manycursive letters already! Keep it up, and I’m, sure that soon sou will be able to write me a whole letter in cursive. Can you think of someone in the Bible who wrote letters (to Timothy, the Corinthians, the Ephesians, etc.)? I live in New Jersey, I have six children, and I don’t have any grandchildren. What are you learning in math right now?

Justin Van Middertdorp

Thank you for joining us, Justin. Which chores do you do on the farm? How many cows do you have? We stayed at a dairy farm in Pennsylvania recently. The children were allowed to help with feeding the calves. On this farm, eight mules were used to pull the plow. I imagine that you have several tractors, instead! Can you think of a story in the Bible which speaks of fat cows and skinny cows? I hope you will enjoy doing the quizzes. Ask the Lord to bless His Word to your heart. Can you please let me know if your house number is 3461? It was difficult to read. Thank you!
