Yes, we enjoyed the winter break, as well, Esther. We did some shopping, skating, hiking, and baking. You wrote about February break, and by the time you read this return letter, I think you will already be having (or almost having) Spring break. How quickly time flies—“Time like an ever-rolling stream,” the psalter tells us. Look back three years, and you will see how a great pandemic had just begun—the schools and churches were closed. Now here we are, three years later, and most of us consider life quite “normal” again. Perhaps, though, we should sometimes continue to look back and reflect on the warning and seriousness of the virus, God’s sparing and helping hand, the blessings we took for granted which became so uncertain, and the struggles and deaths we heard of or experienced in others… They all called out loudly to us that each one of us needs to be prepared for that final day of our life, to think on our ways, and to spend that “ever-rolling” time more wisely.

We have reached the amount of seven hundred eleven Bibles sent to the young people in Bolivia! It has been a wonderful project to do with you all, and I want to thank all of you for working hard on the quizzes to earn Bibles, six quizzes at a time. I hope the Bibles which have been sent will be a blessing to many young hearts. We will now end this program— the New Testaments which were being sent are almost depleted. Instead, the entire Bible is now translated in Spanish. May we learn through this endeavor to appreciate and read our own Bibles more! Once again, THANK YOU, boys and girls!
