Rev. J. C. Wielhouwer who attended the meeting of Classis West, held on March 20, left for Cleveland, Ohio accompanied by his daughter to undergo an operation on one of his eyes. However, he only received a radium treatment on the eye, after which he returned to Grand Rapids. As there was no eye on hand, he will have to wait a couple of weeks. We hope, that under the Lord’s blessing and the skill of the physician, that which has to be taken from the eye of a deceased person and be inserted in his eye, may restore his sight again. His joy will also be ours.

Rev. J. Van den Berg of Krabbendyke (Netherlands) accepted the call to the church of Utrecht. Rev. Heikoop who was the last pastor at that place was killed as a result of a bombardment during the war. There are now only two pastors left in Zeeland, viz.: Rev. Van Stuyvenberg and Rev. Visser.
