JOHN WARBURTON: MERCIES OF A COVENANT GOD
In compliance with the kind request to give a recommendation of the republished work of John Warburton: Mercies of a Covenant God I am gladly willing to do so. This does not mean that a recommendation is necessary. Far from it. The book speaks of God’s dealings with a child and a servant who still speaks “although he be dead”. Especially the young people should buy this publication, in which God’s Sovereignty is so clearly brought to light. It has pleased the Lord to lead Warburton through deep ways, inwardly as well as outwardly; the work of God in his soul has been heavily tried, but the deliverances were time and again such, that it can stir up jealousy. The words of Psalm 37:37: “Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace” have been confirmed to this faithful and anointed minister.
Read this book from beginning to end and you will see that God never forsakes the works of his own hands (Philippians 1:6).
On his deathbed he could testify with freedom of the immovable confidence his soul had received in a Triune God.
Wholeheartedly recommended! The price of this book can be no hindrance to buy it: Cloth-bound $3.95; paperback $2.75. It may be obtained from.

All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men should do nothing.
