The Pilgrim’s Progress, Volume 2—Christiana’s Journey as told by A.C.H van Vuuren—In 2022, we welcomed Mr. van Vuuren’s re-telling of Bunyan’s Pilgrim’s Progress to our shelves. We now announce the arrival of the second volume of this series, Christiana’s Journey. Like the first volume, Mr. van Vuuren’s book nicely brings Bunyan’s works to readers ages 10-15, and is again divided into fifty-five chapters, each with an accompanying psalter, an explanation, and comprehension questions. Respectful illustrations by Mr. Adri Burghout have again been added throughout. Welltranslated and published by the John Bunyan Stichting in Barneveld, the Netherlands. Hardcover, 316 pages, $20.00.

Thou Calledst in Trouble and I Delivered Thee by C. van Rijswijk—Thirteen historical stories in which God’s deeds shine forth, told to our children. These narratives clearly display what we read in Psalm 81:7, “Thou calledst in trouble, and I delivered thee.” Hardcover, 132 pages, $13.50.

Fountain Series: Volume 4 &5 by C. van Rijswijk—Two additional volumes of the Fountain Series from the Netherlands Reformed Book & Publishing Committee are now available. Each book is a series of simple Bible instructions for teens that explores portions, characters, or special histories from the Bible, using short devotionals. They are written as Bible study material to be used by a family with growing children, but they may also be read by teenagers themselves. Each portion of the book is about three to five pages in length, providing an explanation of the time and situation in which a portion from the Bible took place. There is a spiritual and practical lesson to ponder in each piece.
